Murren, Switzerland: Day 5

On our last day the weather was sunny and beautiful! It was stunning to look out our window in the morning. We had our last breakfast of farm fresh milk, homemade jam and bread, fresh Alpinkase, apricots and pears, fresh-made yogurt and orange juice. Breakfast every morning was delicious!

We wanted to hike down from Wengen to Lauterbrunnen before heading back home. We had heard that this was a really beautiful hike. We took the train to Wengen and applied sunscreen and ate lunch. It was so hot while hiking! What a difference from the morning before! The hike was mostly downhill and mostly in the trees which was nice to be in the shade but we couldn't see the views. We kept wondering when it was going to be "beautiful" :) The last 20 minutes of the hike we found the beautiful part! The trees opened up and we could see the whole valley and the mountains surrounding. It was really pretty!
