Apartment #4 - "Frau Bettina and Herr Dietmar"

We moved on a Sunday so we woke up early and got ready for church and packed up. Chris took the luggage downstairs and we met up with Captain Bartee (Dr. Bartee) from Chris' work on base, who was so gracious to drive us and our luggage to our next apartment. We said our good-bye's (Tschus! as they say here) to Deniz and headed for Rohr. I don't think we can ever pronounce it correctly, it's like roaring like a lion while gargling. That's about as close as I've gotten in my practices.

F. Bettina and H. Dietmar were so kind and helpful! The apartment is over the garage but through a beautiful garden. There were fresh flowers in our apartment, chocolates on the bed and table and homemade jam! She also gave Naomi bubbles and chalk to play with. Frau Bettina is an amazing gardener too! It's sensational to sit in the garden and take in the surroundings! B and D have Sunday dinners on their back patio when the weather is fine and invite their children too! We chat with them sometimes, they speak English well.

We dropped our luggage off and headed to church. While at church we got an iron from a lady who moved back to the states and the RS president gave us a stroller that was left in their attic from a previous owner. It can lay down and Fiona can sleep so much better! By the time we got home it was about 6:30 and we were all so tired, it had been an eventful day!

Fiona is climbing and standing up on everything! She thinks it's so fun :)

Enjoying the garden after church.
